Don’t ‘Talk-the-Talk’, but ‘Walk-the-Walk!”

A man had two sons and said to the one
Go work in the vineyard today my son
But the son at first just wouldn't obey
"I'm not going to work, no not today"
But later he changed his mind and went
Even though before he didn’t consent
He asked the second son to do the same
"Sir, I will go!" he did proclaim
But he didn't go as he said he would
Though I'm sure he thought himself good.
Which of these two did his father's will?
The first one did and the other did nil
Then Jesus spoke to the chief priest
And to the elders missing the feast
Those whom you think don't have a clue
Are entering the kingdom ahead of you
You haven't believed what you have heard
But sinners repented, and received His WORD!
Matt 21:28-32

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

New Beginnings

Now that we've had a great Easter celebration together and have started our new FBC schedule on Sunday of 9am-Bible Study, 10am-Felleowship, and 10:30am Worship we are starting a new rotation: Gems of the Kingdom-Parables of Jesus! In the Games rotation we will read the book, "But I Waaaant it!", which gave me a great idea for our next collection-New Toys. Please bring in New children's toys and we will give the to our local network here in Independence for needy families.
